Privacy policy

Kimuse HR processes personal data on behalf of the companies that use it (the data controllers), in line with Rwanda's Law N° 058/2021 on the protection of personal data and privacy.

What we store

Employee records your employer enters (contact details, job and pay information, identity and RSSB numbers, bank details, leave, attendance and documents), login accounts, job applications submitted through careers pages, and technical logs such as IP addresses for security.

How it is used

Only to provide the service to your employer: running payroll, managing leave and records, and sending notifications. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Access inside a company is controlled by roles set by its administrators. Our staff access data only to provide support or when required by law.

Security and retention

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, files are served only after permission checks, and backups are taken nightly. Data is kept while the company account is active and deleted when the company is deleted, except backups which expire on a rolling schedule.

Your rights

Employees can ask their employer to access or correct their data. Job applicants can ask the hiring company, or us, to delete their application. Contact: privacy@kimuse.rw
